So we wanted a really light tie that wasn't quite white in our knitted selection – here it is, Gijs is weaved with white thread but with an almost unnoticeable hint of lavender blue. As in all knitted fabrics, the shadows too transform the colour, turning it slightly darker. And whereas a regular white tie has very limited use, the informality of knitwear plus this off-white colour makes Gijs extremely useful and versatile.
