Colours seem to grow lighter when it comes to weddings. Perhaps it's some sort of sun bleeching effect imitating behaviour. How should I know, I don't know how social evolution works, I'm not a psychologist, for Christ's sake! But I do know that many wedding couples choose a pale pink tie, because it looks freakin' great, especially with blue suits.
